Kinnik Sky is a veteran of the stage, television and film. The Columbia, SC native now resides in Los Angeles by way of Atlanta GA where she spent 13 years. Her more than 25 theatre credits include Dreamgirls, Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Class Reunion & For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enough. Kinnik later went on to finish as a finalist on the mega hit show ​American Idol​.

Her proudest accomplishment to date is writing, producing and starring in the stage production, ​Sunday Mourning under her Dazzal Mi (Dazzle Me) Entertainment production company​, which won three NAACP Theater Awards. The play received a total of seven NAACP Theatre Award nominations, including her nomination for “Best Playwright” and her win for “Best Leading Female.” To date, her production company has received a total of 11 NAACP Theatre Award nominations and 5 wins for it’s multiple stage productions. In 2017 Kinnik Sky’s launched her non-profit, The Sky Academy. The Sky Academy is a program designed to expose the underserved youth of LA to job opportunities in theater and film world by working behind the scenes for all of Sky’s productions. In 2019, she produced and directed a TV pilot and completed production of the film PAWN which has begun to collect a number of accolades in the film festival world.

A writer, producer, director and actress and not even the Sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.
