Miranda Asson is a radio host, motivational speaker, and mother. Miranda is a graduate of Lander University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Theatre. She is currently employed with Entercom as the Community Relations Director & Host of What’s Happening on 96.3, 104.5, and 107.7 FM The Block. In this role, she has the opportunity to interview influential community leaders and residents. She is known for her ability to spearhead the development of communication concepts and has a passion to inspire others to build, engage and connect with the community.
Miranda received the Star Award for best use of Digital Platform from the SC Broadcasters Association in 2018. She is currently involved in the Diversity Leadership Institute through the Riley Institute at Furman University.
Miranda has plans to further extend her brand in television and radio. Her future goals include building a platform that will expose women and young girls to new environments and experiences through her upcoming organization, Inspired by Grace Foundation. These efforts will be accomplished by building partnerships within the community. Miranda understands the importance of women and young girls having the opportunity to experience life beyond their everyday surroundings. By having access to viable resources, teaching solutions and developmental tools, the possibilities are endless for thriving in today’s ever evolving world.
